In a resolute commitment to Sustainable Development Goal #2, Zero Poverty, National Tent House (NTH) has emerged as a proactive advocate for social well-being. Over the past three years, the company has undertaken impactful initiatives aimed at supporting the underprivileged in society, leaving an indelible mark on the path to eradicating poverty.
National Tent House’s sustained efforts include a comprehensive ration drive and meat drive, collectively reaching and benefiting a staggering 0.42 million individuals. The ration drive aims to provide essential food supplies to families addressing the immediate nutritional needs of vulnerable communities. Simultaneously, National Tent House’s meat drive contributes to ensuring protein-rich meals for those facing hardships in the aftermath of economic slow down.
In response to the recent flash floods in 2022, National Tent House extended its reach with a focused cooked food drive for the people of Sindh in the Sakrand and surrounding areas. On the first day of this campaign the company’s directors spent the entire day with the people of the village distributing food parcels in the region. The initiative served 1000 cooked meals daily for the whole month, providing essential sustenance to those directly impacted by the floods.
