NTH Working at Full Capacity for Earthquake Victims of Turkey – Anadolu Ajansi

Tent factories in Pakistan are working at full capacity to deliver tents to disaster victims in Turkey due to the Kahramanmaraş earthquake.

While some of these factories supply tents to Turkey upon the instructions of Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), some of them produce tents to be sent to Turkey upon the request of non-governmental organizations and international aid organizations. A generally similar production process is applied in factories. While some factories produce their own fabrics, some outsource them.

The supplied canvas fabrics are cut to specific sizes, and then these pieces are sewn according to the specifications of the tents in the sewing department of the factories. After assembling the separately sewn pieces, the tents are put on iron frames. After the final check here, the folded tents are made ready for shipment and placed in warehouses.
