What does the Winterization Kit include?

• 1 Inner Lining – Enhances thermal insulation and provides a second layer of protection from harsh winds.

• 1 heat resistant Heater Flue Pipe Sleeve – Helps to prevent the risk of fire and heat damage due to heater usage.
• 1 heat resistant Floor Protection Sheet – A safeguard essential to prevent heat damage from heaters or cooking stoves.

Key Features of Winterization Kit

1. Durable Material

A): The insulated floor mats are Fire Resistant as per CPAI 84 standard and designed with a three-layer structure with the first layer of a solid 500 gsm virgin polypropylene plastic mat, the second layer is an aluminized canvas, a soft but durable synthetic fabric with an aluminum coating. Finally the third layer is a fleece blanket that provides medium thermal insulation. 

B): The inner lining and partition walls are made of breathable, water-resistant, rot-proof, UV-protected canvas that is also fire retardant.

• Fire Retardancy (CPAI84) – NTH’s advanced FR treatment on the fabric ensures it resists ignition and self-extinguishes within 10 seconds of flame exposure adding an added degree of protection for families that use heater or cooking stove inside the tent. 
• Tensile Strength(ISO 13934-1) – The inner lining and partition walls fabric can withstand a minimum of 300N (Approx 30KG) pulling force in both the warp and weft directions.
• Tear Strength(ISO 9073-4) – Following this standard guarantees that the fabric of inner lining and partition walls will resist a tear force of minimum 20N (Approx 2 KG).

C): Heater Flue Pipe Sleeve:  The Heater Flue Pipe Sleeve has a pyramid base design and is 100% Fire proof,  waterproof and Tear Resistant.

•  Water Resistant (ISO 811): As per ISO 811 Testing methods the fabric can sustain minimum 20 HPA (20cm), this means the fabric can resist the pressure exerted by a 20 cm high column of water before leakage occurs providing reliable protection against water leakage.
• Tear Resistance: Minimum 40N, this means the fabric can withstand a tearing force of at least 40 Newtons (4 Kg) before failing.

2. Safety & Comfort

• The materials and additives used in the kit are non-toxic, free of asbestos and other harmful items, meeting EC standards for safety and environmental protection.
• Heat resistant floor protection sheets are included in the kit to protect the groundsheet when using a stove or heater.
